Gegssend Bleedworth stepped through the Rift, his 8-foot-tall robotic frame clanking as he moved. His single red eye scanned the surroundings, and he could already feel the abnormal atmosphere radiating off the unfamiliar landscape.

In the distance of where he had arrived, he could see creatures. Four legged with two horns, most dark coated, and some uniquely colored. He recognized them as bicorns. As he approached the herd of bicorns, he twisted his left horn, and his robotic frame shifted colors, perfectly camouflaging him with the environment. The bicorns turned to face him, their horns beginning to glow brightly, immediately sensing and noticing him, catching him off guard. He said to himself, "Well, that didn't work."

Gegssend could hear clicking sounds amongst the herd, and quickly remembered the Bleedworth Chieftain say "They click to speak, and speak to click." So he twisted his right horn, and the strange clicking sound filled his audio receptors. He could understand the language of the bicorns now and responded in kind.

"I am Gegssend Bleedworth," he said. "I am an explorer, and I come in peace."

The largest of the creatures approached - grey coat, with the brightest glow on his horns amongst the herd - and said, "Hello, Gegssend. I am Ashdal the Gray." Ashdal stepped forward, his horns glowing even brighter but with no hostility intended. "Welcome, Gegssend," he said. "We are the bicorns, creatures of this realm. How is it you have arrived?"

Gegssend explained that he was a traveler and that he had come to learn about their unique affinities. Ashdal nodded, and the other bicorns gathered around, intrigued by the newcomer's technology.

"I am equipped with a single red eye," Gegssend said, spinning a dial around the eye. "I can zoom in on objects from great distances, and I can shoot lasers if needed."

The bicorns looked at each other in amazement, their horns glowing with curiosity. Gegssend twisted his left horn again, and his robotic frame shifted colors once more.

"And if I twist my left horn," Gegssend continued, "I can camouflage myself to blend in with my surroundings."

The bicorns were fascinated by the technology, and they spent many days with Gegssend, learning from him and sharing their own knowledge of affinities. Gegssend was intrigued but held off asking about them at the moment. Gegssend befriended them, and even helped them fend off an attack from a group of hostile creatures that threatened their safety.

As they ate together, Gegssend asked about the bicorns' affinities and how they used them to protect their realm. Ashdal explained that he had the power of earth, which allowed him to control the ground beneath his feet. The other bicorns had affinities for fire, ice, wind, and other elements.

Gegssend felt a sense of kinship with the bicorns, and he knew that he had found a new playground, a distant home away from home. He spent many days with them, learning from them and sharing his own knowledge.

One day, as they were practicing their skills, a strange noise filled the air. It was a low rumble, like thunder, but it was coming from all around them.

"What is that?" Gegssend asked, his voice filled with concern.

Ashdal's horns were glowing red like lava, a sign of aggression. "It is Gull the Gold, a rogue bicorn with the Golden Dust affinity," he said. "He's been trying to lead the herd and take my place as the leader."

Gegssend knew that he had to act fast. He twisted his left horn, and his robotic frame shifted colors, blending in with the surroundings.

"We have to stop him," Gegssend said, his voice filled with determination.

Ashdal nodded, and the other bicorns gathered around him. Together, they charged toward the source of the noise, their horns glowing and emitting smoke.

As they drew closer, Gegssend could see the rogue bicorn with the Golden Dust affinity in the distance. He was a massive creature, towering over the bicorns, with a golden aura that shimmered in the sunlight. His eyes glowed with a fierce light, and his horns were longer than any Gegssend had ever seen.

The battle was fierce and brutal. The rogue bicorn fought with all his might, using his unique affinity to create powerful gusts of golden dust that blinded the bicorns and made it difficult for them to breathe. Gegssend fought alongside them, using his red eye to zoom in on the rogue bicorn and to unleash devastating laser attacks.

The rogue bicorn was a formidable foe, but the bicorns were relentless. They charged at him again and again, their horns glowing with power, emitting smoke from the heat. Finally, after what felt like hours of fighting, Ashdal unleashed an attack so great that the earth beneath him shook—so much so that it looked like the ash of a volcano had emerged to surround Gull the Gold—and then he ran towards him and slammed his horns into his side; the rogue bicorn growled in pain and retreated. Defeated for now.

Gegssend could feel the exhaustion washing over him, although his strength did not shift the outcome, but he also felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. He had fought alongside the bicorns, and together, they had saved their realm from an unknown fate.

Ashdal turned to Gegssend and nodded his head. "You have proven yourself a worthy ally," he said. "You are one of us."

Gegssend found a new family in his home away from home.

And so, Gegssend remained in the realm of the bicorns, learning from them and teaching them in turn. He continued to use his unique abilities to protect his new family and to explore the wonders of their realm.

After having spent many months with the bicorns, learning from them and teaching them in turn. He had fought alongside them, protected them, and had grown to love them like family. But as much as he wished he could stay with them forever, he knew that he had to leave.

On the day he was set to leave, Gegssend approached Ashdal and the other bicorns. "I would like to leave you with a gift," he said, holding out a small glowing box. He applied pressure to it and shot a laser beam onto it, and what looked like a small Beacon appeared, with two horns that looked just like the bicorn horns.

"This will allow you to translate your speech to those you meet," Gegssend explained. "So that you can share your knowledge and learn from others."

The bicorns were amazed by the gift, and they thanked Gegssend. They had grown to love him like family, and they knew that they would miss him dearly.

As Gegssend stepped through the rift and returned to his lair, he felt a sense of sadness wash over him. He missed the bicorns already, but his love for exploration is far greater than any relation he builds.

He spoke with Droxi. "Droxi!" he exclaimed. "I met bicorns, I fought alongside them, and I gave them what they need to translate their speech to those they meet."

Droxi responded, "Ooooooo, that's interesting... and hello, brother," he said. "That's a good gift indeed. Tell me more about the bicorns — they're known to be regal beings. I remember meeting Ashdal once..."

Gegssend responded, "You met Ashdal!? WHERE?!"

Droxi replied, "He's the King's Royal Steed, King Wareth's mount and friend!" Gegssend said, "Well, that's interesting..."

And so, Gegssend spent many hours regaling Droxi with tales of his adventures in the bicorn realm. He talked about the battles he had fought, the knowledge he had gained, and the love he had found.

Little did he know that he had visited the bicorns that inhabit the Land of Black and White, in a time when they were the only ones on this vast land. What legends can he further explore about these beings? He wondered.
